Results & Reminders

Abnormal or Non-Urgent Results

One of our friendly staff members will call you to arrange the appointment. We do not give results over the phone or to a third party.

Normal Results

Will be given to the patient by consultation. (Results will only be discussed with your doctor). The patient will not be called by the practice if the results are normal and the doctor has not requested to see you. If you would like to discuss further the results please feel free to arrange an appointment.

Urgent Results

You will receive a phone call from one of our Nurses to arrange an urgent appointment to see the Doctor.

Reminders

We are committed to providing you with preventative healthcare. We will seek your permission to be included on our reminder system.

If you do not wish to be part of this system please advise your Doctor or Reception Staff.

Please let our reception staff know if you would like to discuss a medical matter (and how urgently you require a response) with your Doctor over the phone by calling (08) 9525 0123.

The Doctor’s at Byford Family Practice are available during normal surgery hours. If your Doctor is with a patient, a message will be taken and our reception staff will advise your Doctor of your call.
